General Information on the Club and membership

The Dunedin Burns Club was first founded in 1861 but later went into a period of recess before being re-established with its present constitution in 1891. The objects of the Club include celebrating annually the birth of the Scottish Poet, Robert Burns, studying his poetry and in other ways perpetuating his memory. In addition the Club seeks to foster the love of Scottish song and story. New members are welcome, annual membership fee $10 single, $12 double. Everyone is welcome to join and it is not necessary to have a Scottish heritage.2020 Jan 30 Burns Subsription form

    We are in Dunedin for 3 days, incorporating Burns Night in 2023.
    Can you advise us as to where we can attend a Burns Night Supper that evening?

    • A Burns Supper is being held on Thursday 25 January 2024 at Toitu Otago Settlers Museum. Please check with them about tickets. Also
