Lunchtime concert of Scottish Music for St Andrew’s Day 30 November 2018
A lunchtime organ recital concert by Denis McCombe entitled “Scottish Music for St. Andrew’s Day” will be held at First Church, Moray Place, on Friday 30 November at 12.10 pm , Dunedin. It will last about 45 minutes and cover a wide variety of music “from reels to tear-jerkers”. Free admission.
A similar concert last year on St Patrick’s day was well attended.

Burns Supper 25 January 2019
Tickets for the Burns Supper 25 January 2019, to be held in the Town Hall, will go on sale to the public on 20 November 2018 at the Scottish Shop, 17 George St, Dunedin, phone 03-477-9965, at $75 a person..

St Andrew’s Day celebrations 30 November 2018.

Events will be held in the Octagon on Sunday 25 November 2018, e.g. Haggis ceremony, porridge eating, highland dancing, music, stalls, highland games-l[ke activities. (The 2018 Robert Burns Lecture: Whaur extremes meet: A tale of two Burnses in early Otago was given by Professor Liam McIlvanney in the Castle C Seminar Room on Tuesday 29 May 2018 at 5.30 pm).
